Terms of service / ground rules
01 Using mdgenr.com
By using the site you agree to these terms. Last updated: August 2026.
Acceptance
By accessing or using MdGenr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The tool and its output
MdGenr renders Markdown into styled HTML and exports documents in HTML, PDF, and Markdown formats. Output is provided for informational and writing purposes. You are solely responsible for reviewing rendered output and exported files before publishing them anywhere.
Your content
Everything you write in the editor remains yours. We claim no license or ownership over your documents. Because drafts are stored only in your browser's IndexedDB, you are also solely responsible for exporting and backing up your work.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free rendering, or that output matches every Markdown dialect.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MdGenr and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including lost drafts, formatting errors in published documents, or data removed when browser storage is cleared.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to disrupt its operation, and not to scrape or redistribute its written content in bulk without permission. Normal use of the editor is, of course, entirely encouraged.
Intellectual property
The design, code, and written content of mdgenr.com are owned by their creators. Markdown syntax itself is an open standard and belongs to everyone; your documents belong to you.
Changes
We may modify these terms or discontinue the Service at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
